Description: High quality twentieth century instrument designed in the style of a mid-nineteenth century kaliedoscope. Signed on brass end by manufacturer Van Cort Instruments of Northampton, Massachusetts. Uncertain of exact date of manufacture.
Attractive piece with brass ends, heavy glass, and paperboard shaft covered in marbelized paper.
Engraved maker's lettering on the brass eye piece.
Approximate size is 10" length x 1-7/8" diameter.
