    Vintage Hollow Amethyst Purple Table Lighter Controlled Bubble Glass.
    Metal insert is marked made in Japan where the thumb depresses the igniter it reads special on it
    One tiny Knick on base. Very difficult to see. Can only see when turned over

    I do not know if it works Insert comes out easily
    It looks to have never been used although there is no flint in it. The wick has no burn color. The ashtray still has the lead crystal from Germany label in it. The ashtray measures 4 1/2" by 3" and stands 1" tall. The lighter measures 2" square at the base. The lighter itself is brass. It is marked "Japan" and "SMC" with a logo. The set is heavy.
